1. Device List
Inventor * 1
Solar panel *1set(from 1-10pcs, please check your order to confirm)
Solar rack *1
Transformer *1(double voltage only, please check your order to confirm)
The following operations need to be carried out by professionals.
Before you start, please take measures to prevent electric shock, including but not limited to
- The framework of prefabricated houses should be well-grounded;
- There should be a circuit breaker between the solar feeder and the inverter;
- There should be a circuit breaker between the mains input and the inverter;
- When connecting any circuit, the circuit breaker should be in the open state, and only close the circuit breaker when the circuit is confirmed clearly.
2. Setup the inverter
2.1 Place
Inverters should be installed indoors in a dry place. Generally, for wiring convenience, inverters can be placed below the junction box in the house; Inverters can be installed horizontally or vertically. When installing horizontally, please place the inverter on an appropriate rack; The strength of the walls of the prefabricated house is limited. When placing them vertically, please consider strengthening measures or using brackets.
Choose a good place and fix the inverter.
2.2 Security measures
Connect the inverter housing to the earth.
Be sure the inverter main switch(on the right middle) is in a state of off.
2.3 remove the bottom cover of the inverter
2.4 Connect the output wires
Please NOTE: The output voltage of the inventor, commonly, it is 220V/50Hz.
Find the circuit breaker for the air-conditioner and any 220V circuit, then use a wire of at least 6mm2 to connect the MAIN OUT of the inverter and the 220V circuit breakers’ input.
2.6 Connect the battery wires
There is a BIG RED wire and a BIG BLACK wire, connect them to the inverter BAT+ and BAT- junctions.
Don’t let them short-circuit.
2.7 Connect the solar wires
please note: There should be a circuit breaker between the inverter and the solar panels, if you don’t have one, don’t plug/connect the wire to the solar panels till everything is ready.
Connect the RED wire to the + junction and BLACK wire to the – junction of the inverter, and make a hole to let the wires pass through the wall. (If you don’t need the municipal power, you can use the inbound wires as a part of the solar wires, in this case, no wall hole needs to be made.)
Don’t let them short-circuit.
2.8 Connect the municipal power wires(if you need)
Connect the municipal power to the inverter AC IN with wires at least 6mm2, the circuit breaker should at off-state when you doing this.
3. Setup the transformer(double voltage only)
If you need both 220V and 110V, there should be a transformer, which will transform the 220V output of the inverter to 110V.
The transformer could have input voltage and output selection, please be sure the input selection switch is at 220V and the output is at 110V.
Connect the 110V output to all circuit breakers of 110V circuits with wires at least 4mm2, and then connect the input of the transformer to the main output of the inverter(please do not use the second/slave output of the inverter)
4. Setup the batteries
The batteries are usually seated under the inverter, connect every 4 batters to make them a group with three big black wires, after this you will get 2 free battery junctions, connect them to the cable you have done in step 2.4.
Turn on the inverter to see if there is any output.
Turn the municipal power on to see if it works normally.
Once everything is ok, turn off the inverter and then turn off the municipal power.
5.Setup the solar panels
5.1 Place
Solar panels should be installed in an unobstructed area that can withstand direct sunlight, either the roof or the ground is good.
Strong winds may cause damage to solar panels, Please be sure to secure them firmly; also please note dust can reduce the power of solar panels.
5.2 Assemble the rack
5.2 Fix the panels one by one onto the rack
5.3 Connect the wires behind the panel one by one, and connect the alone plug with the wire from the inverter.
5.4 turn on the inverter(with municipal power off) to see if it works ok.
